Micro Fence offers pairs of Guide Shafts in five different sizes. While the Guide Shafts are interchangable among our tools, here are some details about how they are used:

• The 3" Guide Shafts are standard in our Micro Stop.
• The 5" Guide Shafts will increase the reach of the Micro Stop anvil to 3 1/2".
• The 7" stainless steel Guide Shafts extend the reach of the Micro Stop anvil to 5 1/2". These are also included in our Edge-Guide Package.
• Our 12" stainless steel Guide Shafts extend the reach of the Micro Stop anvil to 10 1/2". These are also included in our Edge-Guide Package.
• Our 24" stainless steel Guide Shafts* are interchangeable with the standard 12" and extend the reach of the Circle or Ellipse Jigs. When cutting larger radii, we recommend the use of our Stabilizer Bars and/or Stabilizer Bar Levelers at intervals of about 24"-30". These maximize rigidity, prevent any sag in the stainless steel rods and offer insurance against any loosening of the brass thumbscrews due to vibration.
• Our 36" stainless steel Guide Shafts* are interchangeable with the standard 12" and extend the reach of our Circle or Ellipse Jigs. When cutting larger radii, we recommend the use of our Stabilizer Bars and/or Stabilizer Bar Levelers at intervals of about 24"-30". These maximize rigidity, prevent any sag in the stainless steel rods and offer insurance against any loosening of the brass thumbscrews due to vibration.
