REQUIREMENTS: Circle Jig (Attachment or Complete) & Model A Mounting Bar.

Our Festool UHMW Slide combines with our Circle Jig and Universal Router Plate Pkg. to become the Festool Slide Interface Package. The UHMW slide mounts on the underside of the Circle Jig trammel bar (the one with the Micro Fence micrometer) and fits over the extrusion of the Festool Guide Rail.

(Note: Two nylon-tipped set screws are included with the UHMW slide to make adjustment to it's fit  on the Tool Guide extrusion. Although carefully machined and fitted, any tolerance discrepency can be tuned out.)

Any router can be mounted on the Universal Router Plate. You can drill the plate for your router's hole configuration by using the factory sub-base as a template (we include an instruction sheet and a centering hub with each Clamp Interface Pkg), or we can pre-drill the plate for your router for $25.

The set-up allows micrometer-adjusted cuts (dadoes, rabbets, flutes, etc.) using the Festool Tool Guide as a straight edge. Adjustments to the dimension of your cut can be achieved by using the Micro Fence system and without moving the clamp itself.

 The use of the Stabilizer Bar is highly recommended with this set-up for maximum accuracy, rigidity and insurance against any migration due to excess vibration.
