Over the last fifteen years, we've heard from a good many of our customers about how they'd like to have the fine-tuning capabilities of the Micro Fence on other machines in their shop. We've currently finished the development of the new Micro Fence fine-tuning Micro Stop.

Our micrometer lead-screw/dial assembly is fitted with a precision-machined facia plate and pre-drilled/tapped mounting plate to serve as a 'portable'  stop on virtually any woodworking machine. Designed specifically for use with table saw cross slides, the Micro Stop will also improve set-up control on the chop box, band saw, shaper and router table fences, sanding machines, doweling and mortising machines or anywhere you want to add micrometer adjustment.

The Micro Stop sits on an aluminum plate that's machined square and is pre-drilled for easy mounting (or clamping) to whatever surface you wish. This Micro Stop-Basic unit comes packaged with 3" shafts that allow  1 1/4" of anvil movement with up to 1" of micrometer travel. The anvil is pre-drilled and tapped (6-32 thread) in four locations to accept whatever secondary fence you'd like to attach.

Accessories: Optional 5" shafts can increase the reach of the anvil to approximately 3 1/2".  An adjustable UHMW slide accessory is available to fit the 3/4" mitre-gauge slots found on most table saws, band saws, shapers, router tables and sanders. The Micro Stop-Pkg  includes these accessories along with the basic unit and is available for $159.95.

Other potentially useful accessories  include the Micro Fence Stop Collar Sets and longer guide shafts. (All Micro Fence guide shafts, i.e. 7", 12", 24" and 36" shafts are compatible).

Whether your application is as simple as adding the adjustability of the Micro Stop to a mitre gauge cross-slide or whether you're building your own version of the world's most sophisticated router table, this component will probably improve it's accuracy and performance.
