For years, customers have been telling us that they wish there was a 'Micro Fence'-type control for the vertical adjustment on their plunge routers. Our Plunge Base does just that. We've taken the patented micrometer dial/spindle assembly that we use in the Micro Fence System and adapted it to provide thousandth-of-an-inch control in the vertical axis.

The Micro Fence Plunge Base brings scalpel-like control to your routing operations and offers the ultimate in set-up accuracy and efficiency.

1. The LED Light Source provides unprecedented clarity in the work area and can be mounted in any of four different positions in either the motor carriage or the base. (Multiple lights can also be installed, above and below or front and back).
2. The three-position turret indexes on a spring-loaded ball to seat precision-machined stops.
3. A clearly marked stop rod limits your depth of cut to any tolerance you prefer. The stops provide 1/8” increments within .0015 tolerance. All other depths can be controlled by the stop rod and Micro Fence micrometer dial.

The Micro Fence Plunge Base is just one of the foundation pieces of our system and is compatible with all existing Micro Fence products. Used with the Micro Fence Edge Guide, you’ll have all the elements of a precision milling machine. We offer a special package that includes both of these foundation pieces, or you can opt for the Pro Plus Package which includes the Circle Jig Attachment as well.

• The base price for the Micro Fence Plunge Base (399.95) is for the Bosch Colt PR10/20 which requires no additional adapter ring or cup. All other laminate trimmers and high speed rotary tools will require either an adapter ring and/or adapter cup. Due to some confusion from customers about what adapters they need, we have now included the required adapters in the prices below.
