REQUIREMENTS: Plunge Base Mounting Bar (and if you are purchasing for any other trimmer besides the PR20, you MUST order an Adapter Ring. For years, customers have been telling us that they wish there was a 'Micro Fence'-type control for the vertical adjustment on their plunge routers. Our Plunge Base does just that. We've taken the patented micrometer dial/spindle assembly that we use in the Micro Fence System and adapted it to provide thousandth-of-an-inch control in the vertical axis.

The Micro Fence Plunge Base, one of the foundation pieces of our system, is compatible with all existing Micro Fence products and accepts several brands of laminate trimmer motors. As noted above, if you plan to use your Plunge Base for any other laminate trimmer besides the PR20 you will require an Adaptor Ring.
