Overview
The Micro Fence System makes your hand-held router into the precision milling machine it’s capable of being for straight- line, circular, elliptical and many other types of woodworking applications. Bringing its concept from the machine-tool trade, it provides dependable, micrometer-adjusted measuring capability that streamlines set-ups by maximizing accuracy and efficiency. Micro Fence’s accuracy provides the means to achieve the highest level of quality and fit in an impressively wide range of routing tasks.
Every Micro Fence tool is made entirely in America, using the highest quality materials, all our tools are assembled right here in our shop in Los Angeles. When Micro Fence was in its’ beginning stages over 35 years ago, my father suggested we could either “choose to explain the price or apologize for the quality”. You can see and feel our choice in every tool that we make.
The system addresses operations with tack-sharp .001″ or .1mm readouts. Micro Fence can now be fitted to more than 60 models of routers, compact routers, laminate trimmers, and high-speed rotary tools. Initially ordered for a specific make and model of router, our kits can be easily and inexpensively adapted to others. Available in either imperial or metric scales.

The Edge Guide
Our Edge Guide offers measuring capability and reliability beyond most other woodworking tools. Tight fitting, repeatable router joinery and milling will become your expectation. Control clearances in increments of one-thousandth-of-an inch and virtually eliminate trial and error set-up methods… and it’s adaptable to virtually any router.

The Circle Jig
Our Circle Jig provides the same accuracy and adjustability for curvilinear work. Diameter capabilities range from 6″ to 12 feet. It can be purchased as an accessory to our Edge Guide (the Circle Jig Attachment) or as a completely separate tool (the Circle Jig Complete). It can be used along with our “Interface” packages for straight-line work or with our Ellipse Jigs. Our optional Vacuum Center Assembly hold-down is also available to eliminate the need for pilot holes.

The Plunge Bases
Both our Original and Micro Plunge Bases are made with the same genes as all Micro Fence tools…finely machined precision. The Original Plunge targets laminate trimmer or compact router motors while our Micro Plunge addresses high-speed rotary tools. Both feature silky smooth plunging action and pin-point depth-of-cut control. Combined with our Edge Guide and/or Circle Jigs their milling capabilities are better compared to machine tools than other woodworking tools. Similarly, our optional 6 LED Light Rings provide brilliant, shadow-free lighting in the work area.
